Azra & Rick
“I hate the word Love. Love is too simple a word for how I feel about her”, Ricky says to Azra and the captive audience in his groom speech, right before getting on the dance floor with his groomsmen. The dance? An old school tribute to “I Want It That Way” by the Backstreet Boys. The bride and the guests erupt in laughter and cheers. These few minutes encapsulate Azra and Rick elegantly – a Serbian girl and an Indian guy so deeply in love that you cannot imagine how they could be more perfect for each other. We even found a sign in a random shop during the photo/video shoot that they immediately picked up. It said “you are perfect in every way”, and the glint in their eyes said more than words ever could.
Azra is actually the sister of Emina, whose wedding we filmed in February and who recommended us to Azra. We are always so flattered when a bride entrusts her sister’s wedding to us in a stamp of approval! Emina could not make it to Azra’s wedding due to passport delays, but she did make a virtual speech and will be able to share in her sister’s wedding through our wedding film.
