Being wedding photographers in a multicultural city, we’ve seen our share of beautiful Vancouver Chinese wedding photos, but it’s hard to imagine a more picturesque venue for a tea ceremony than the Sea To Sky Gondola! Set on top of a coastal mountain overlooking Howe Sound below, with rays of light filtering through the distant peaks, Salina and Ken picked a heavenly surrounding for not just the tea ceremony, but also for their wedding. You see, by having the wedding at the Spirit Trail Viewing Platform, you get to walk down the aisle known as the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge! 100 meters of pure adrenaline, your heart pumping from both the sheer drop and the anticipation. Of course, this was just a walk in the park for Salina and Ken, and their… OMG they brought the cutest fur babies! Does this get any better?
The last time we photographed a Sea to Sky Gondola wedding, it was a winter wonderland. So thank you, Salina and Ken, for giving us a chance to see summer love at this amazing venue. We hope these photos will be mementos of family, adventure, and the best damn tea ceremony ever, we are framing this one!
