The Dreamers
Could this be the most picturesque wedding venue in the world? We were driving from Philadelphia to York, PA for Nichell and Taha’s wedding, and all of a sudden found ourselves in the middle of Amish country! When we got to Lauxmont Farms and saw its perch on top of endless grasslands surrounded by a river straight out of a painting, it was like looking into paradise. It was here that we finally got to know Nichell and Taha, whose story is just as amazing as the panorama in the background.
Meeting by chance as if in a romance novel, N&S have sailed through some of life’s biggest triumphs and challenges, including the passing of Taha’s father just before his graduation from Harvard. In fact, the wedding date was chosen to be on his dad’s birthday. It was an emotional day, and the wedding vows are among the most romantic we’ve ever heard. The poetry of love on display is probably the only thing able to outshine Lauxmont Farms. We were privileged to have witnessed both.
