A Date at the Mayflower
What if a wedding was so spectacular, we felt like editing it twice? The thought hadn’t cross our mind, but something changed when we walked into the historic Mayflower Hotel in Washington DC with Jacqueline and Arash. A stunningly classy venue with a beautifully elegant couple, it was almost too perfect!
The wedding day started at the luxurious Presidential Suite, seriously one of the most photogenic places for any bride, especially the gorgeous Jackie. We just had to match the awesome bridesmaid sequence with a unique groomsmen sequence on the 1920 themed floor (each floor in the Mayflower represents a different decade, take your pick!) This is a Korean and Persian fusion wedding, and you’ll see the Persian wedding ceremony in the jaw-dropping Palm Court Ballroom, while Jackie saved her Korean wedding outfit for the reception. We won’t give too much away, just watch out for the best grand entrance ever!
So what do we do with a luxury wedding that is simultaneously classy and fun? We did two parallel edits, each with emphasis on different parts of the day, and joined them together with one nifty cinematic sequence. Yes, we edited this wedding twice, and now you’ll never watch another wedding video the same way again!
