Ramie and Saumya’s week-long wedding was everything a California Indian wedding photographer could hope for – both Hindu and Sikh ceremonies, insanely picturesque ceremony location, and two sweet and upbeat young professionals genuinely in love, having the best time of their lives. Really, this had every ingredient of a dream wedding before we even showed up. But still, with every new event, every burst of laughter, and every pre-wedding celebration, we knew this wedding would have a special place in our hearts.
As you’ll see in the drone photos, The Nirvana Estate is an absolute green oasis rising out of the surrounding desert, miles and miles of lush vines embrace the luxurious estate in the middle. Joining hands from two backgrounds, Ramie and Saumya would have both Sikh and Hindu wedding ceremonies back to back at the elevated garden terrace. As the couple entered and the musicians played, the white fabric blew in the breeze against the green vineyard, flanked by pastel flowers arrangements and hedges. It felt like every time we clicked the camera shutter, it was capturing a slice of heaven. No doubt The Nirvana Estate is one of the most memorable wedding venues in California. Our last time here was in 2015 and ten years later, it still blew us away.
The celebration continued the next day at the Marriott Bakersfield Convention Center. We loved using the mirrors in the suite for some elegant, timeless getting ready pictures. The reception, as you can imagine, was full of energy and euphoric dancing, perfect for our off camera flash to do its magic. As the wedding photographer, we are thrilled to capture the joy, laughter, and love in every wedding. Indian weddings are known for their warmth, and deep cultural significance, and being part of this beautiful California wedding is truly inspiring.
