The Pan Pacific Hotel wedding of Anindita and Raj in Vancouver was a much anticipated destination event for all the guests. So even though this is our home, it’s so awesome to see it through a fresh lens, such as when the cruise ship pulled into Canada Place like a quiet showcase of quintessential Vancouver. The Pacific Northwest added a dash of rain and clouds to make it interesting, but by the end of the beautiful rooftop Hindu ceremony, the sun peeked through for one good look at the newlyweds. We loved the upbeat Haldi and Sangeet – always lovely to see the families pull together for amazing dance performances – but the best was saved for last, when A&R took the floor for their first dance with fog and sparklers in the Crystal Pavilion Ballroom. We had to bring out the FPV drone to show it all off!
