This incredible Fairmont Hotel Vancouver wedding video takes full advantage of the castle in the sky – the perfect venue for the international wedding of Jennifer and Flaviu, who have come from the US and Romania to celebrate their love with an unparalleled view. We were thrilled that they chose us as their Vancouver wedding videographer and photographer. Why? We love the incredible ballroom and rooftop as much as these two lovebirds do, and there’s no better way to show them off than with the drone, inside and out.

When two families come this far to celebrate, every moment is precious. From the elegant ceremony with live singers to the string ensemble reception, the warmth and joy was palpable. As J&F were soaking up this once-in-a-lifetime day, our job as videographers and photographers was to make the moments last forever.

The elegant ballroom provided the perfect setting for their celebration, while the rooftop gave us an incredible opportunity to capture Vancouver from above. Our aerial footage brought a whole new perspective to the day, showing off the Fairmont’s iconic architecture, the downtown skyline, and the incredible energy of this international celebration.

Jennifer and Flaviu’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that love has no borders. With family and friends coming together from different corners of the world, the day felt like one big celebration of two lives becoming one. Between the breathtaking views, the grand surroundings, and all the genuine moments in between, this was one Vancouver wedding we won’t soon forget.

A Fairmont Hotel Vancouver wedding video is the perfect opportunity to combine classic elegance with some seriously cinematic footage. Known for its iconic castle-like architecture, the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver offers beautiful spaces throughout the property, each bringing something different to the wedding story.

One of our favourite spots for portraits is the rooftop. It makes an incredible setting for a first look, with the Vancouver skyline providing a dramatic backdrop while the couple gets a quiet moment together before the festivities begin. It is also perfect for aerial footage, giving our drone plenty of room to capture sweeping views of downtown and the historic Fairmont exterior.

The ceremony took place in the Vancouver Island Room and was a beautiful Orthodox Christian celebration. The atmosphere was intimate and meaningful, with traditional elements, heartfelt moments, punctuated by a violin performance and opera singers. These musical details bring something special to a wedding film, giving the soundtrack a rich and timeless feeling.

Later, the Pacific Ballroom became the centre of the celebration, with the beautiful sound of live strings and quartets adding to the ambience. The grand space was ideal for our FPV drone, allowing us to capture fast, fluid indoor shots that reveal the scale of the ballroom and the energy of the reception.
